Park Information

Southwoods Park is a simple green space, named for the surrounding Southwoods subdivision. Its unique and somewhat irregular shape is rather functional, as it provides pedestrian access into the park from two distinct areas of the neighborhood. It was assembled over the years by District planning staff obtaining corners from three separate subdivisions after many years of negotiation.

A great spot for quiet relaxation and enjoyment of the park’s mature landscaping, or for watching the kids partake in playground fun.
