Pool Rentals
Looking for a great place to hold your summer party that is refreshing and cool? Rent one of our pools! Christine Thompson Aquatic Center and Fruitridge Swim Center are available for pool parties on Saturdays and Sundays. The minimum rental is two hours and all prices include lifeguards. All rentals must be made at least two weeks in advance and must be made in person at Christine Thompson Aquatic Center or Fruitridge Swim Center.
For reservation requests, please complete the Pool Rental Application below and email it to rentalinfo@southgaterecandpark.gov.
Please Note: Pool rental requests are subject to availability. We will begin accepting pool rentals in March 2026.

Fruitridge Swim Center

Fruitridge Swim Center will remain closed for renovations in 2026 and will reopen in 2027.

Standard deposit for all rentals: $100
*Christine Thompson Aquatic Center Activity Only includes zero entry pool and splash pad
**Inflatables are priced at a flat rate when booked with rental package. Subject to availability.
Birthday Party Packages!
An easy solution to the stress of party-planning! Our themed birthday parties offer unique activities that will give your guest of honor and their birthday guests an unforgettable experience.
Birthday Party Packages are only available at Pat O’Brien Community Center and Christine Thompson Aquatic Center.
Party times for the pool are only available June–August during Recreation Swim, Mon–Fri from 1:30pm–4:30pm or Sat and Sun from 1pm–4:30pm.
All birthday parties must be booked 30 days in advance and paid in full at the time of the rental.

Incredible Party Package
First hour includes 2 activities or one hour of recreation swimming. Second hour is for party celebration. Covers party host(s), supervised activities, tables, chairs, party tablecloth, plates, cups, and napkins.
- $200: up to 10 children
- $250: 11-20 children
Ultimate Party Package
First hour includes 2 activities or one hour of recreation swimming. Second hour is for pizza party celebration. Covers party host(s), supervised activities, tables, chairs, party tablecloth, plates, cups, napkins, four extra-large pizzas and drinks.
- $250: up to 10 children
- $300: 11-20 children
Southgate Recreation & Park District Refund Policy
Programs, Classes, and Activities:
Refunds and transfers are granted without fees for cancellations received at least 72 hours prior to the first class. Failure to attend a class does not constitute grounds for a refund. Refunds will be provided if an activity is canceled by the District. A transaction fee may be charged for cancellations.
Payment of Refunds:
Refunds issued in the form of a check take up to 30 days to process. Refunds may be issued to your Southgate ActiveNet account to use for future programs, classes, activities, park rentals and/or facility rentals. Refunds to a Southgate ActiveNet account are available earlier. Southgate Recreation & Park District reserves the right to cancel or change program offerings, park permits or facility rentals at any time.
