Wildhawk North Future Park Site
The District is working with Taylor Morrison to build turnkey parks with the Wildhawk North subdivision. In total, there will be approximately 12.4 acres of parkland within the Wildhawk North subdivisions. Two parks will be constructed by Taylor Morrison, and the third park will be developed by the District in the future. The District held its second community meeting to gather input and feedback on the desired amenities for the parks on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The master plan has been finalized and approved. Currently the developer is working on construct plans.
Norman S. Waters Park ADA Sidewalk Improvements Project
The Norman Waters Park ADA Sidewalk Improvements Project includes demolition of existing concrete and installation of new concrete flatwork, including a sidewalk connection to Elsie Avenue along the park’s west side. Improvements also include a new accessible ramp with handrails behind the northside backstop and dugout, a concrete pad with a precast picnic table, minor irrigation repairs, and landscape enhancements such as trees and boulders. Construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2026.
