Park Information

This vibrant park in the Vineyard Point subdivision is home to Southgate’s first-ever dog park, consisting of three fenced-in off-leash dog areas to keep Fido active and happy! Along with the dog park, the 14-acre site delivers plenty of sports, recreational and leisure space, plus acres of turf, trees and landscaping. The design theme of the park and its features lend a nod to the region’s early rural and agricultural roots. You’ll notice those elements as you enter the park and check out the fun playground equipment and other details.

Don & Brenda Nottoli Community Park was named in honor of Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli and his wife and ever-present supporter, Brenda Nottoli. Don was first elected to the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in 1994 and he has been a tireless advocate for Southgate Recreation & Park District. Lifelong residents of South Sacramento County, Don and Brenda have a lifelong interest in the care of animals and local natural resources.
