For nearly 70 years, families in South Sacramento have chosen Southgate parks as the backdrop for life’s most treasured moments. As we continue our Road to 70 Years in 2026, Pictures in the Park invites families to capture those moments in a setting that feels natural, familiar, and full of meaning.
Each session will be taken at Ted M. Klein Park where soft light, open space, and the calm of the outdoors create an easy, comfortable environment. Children can play and laugh, parents can settle into the moment, and even pets can be part of the fun! You’re welcome to bring props, pets, and holiday outfits to help create photographs that feel genuine and alive.
