Tired of the same old, dry egg hunt? Celebrate spring in a way only Southgate Recreation & Park District can by diving into our annual Underwater Egg Hunt at the Christine Thompson Aquatic Center. This splashing community tradition brings together families for a playful, water-filled twist on the classic egg hunt.
Children will take part in age-group egg hunts in the water, with younger swimmers exploring the shallow areas while older participants search deeper waters for floating eggs. Every group has its own Golden Egg, and finding it earns a special prize. Between hunts, families can enjoy spring-themed arts and crafts and stop by the photo booth for a festive picture!
Important Detail
🎟️ This event is designed to be welcoming, fun, and accessible for families of all sizes. Preregistration is just $6 per child, drop-in registration is $8 per child, and accompanying household members are free.
🥚 Specific egg hunt times will be assigned by age group during the event.
